The title ‘Diving Deep’ might have you believing that this book is all about the deep sea, or getting there, but this book is more like an introduction into the different ways we observe what’s going on beneath the surface. Beautiful illustrations depicting the different equipment, as well as regions of the sea are accompanied by simple explanations. You will find everything from snorkeling to deep-sea submersibles, but no descriptions of any sea creatures. This book may be useful for aiding children into not being afraid of swimming in the ocean.
