LGBTQ+ Women in STEM Event
On Nov. 6th 2021, the first ever scholarship between Gillette Venus x Mckensea was presented for LGBTQ+ women in STEM. Hosted by
Mckenzie Margarethe with guest hosts Juliana Limon and Jessica May. Two Scholarship winners were chosen and awarded 3K each.

Come join us and discuss what it's like being a queer woman in STEM.
The scholarship entry form will be available on this website one day after the event. You will be ask some details about yourself, as well as some questions about the event, and these essay questions. Please pick one essay question and answer to the best of your ability in 250 words or less.

1) Why is having more LGBTQ+ women in STEM important?
2) What does a future with more LGBTQ+ folks in STEM look like?
3) Who is a queer person in STEM that inspires you?
You must be 18+ in order to enter the scholarship or be willing to provide written consent from you legal guardian.
